FOUND SOME ANALOG

I have worked on a few seasons for Analog now and I never seem to run across it in stores. Living in Florida probably doesn't help. The style guides for Analog are always killer as they are creatively developing there own trends. These are shorts I ran across yesterday that made use of my type.

A few months ago I had the chance to check out the new stuff at Surf Expo- so there is much more to come.

DRY OFF IN STYLE

I ran across some typography I did on beach towels. So stoked. I can't wait to dry my ass with these bad boys. Check them out at Swell.

Quiksilver In Miami

Went down to Miami to do some shopping. More for work than just for me. Bought a few new books at Base. Check out Punk Is Dead: Punk Is Everything! I stopped into the Quiksilver store on Lincoln road in Miami and noticed that they dropped some of my new stuff. Really stoked to see my type and graphics go a long way from belts to boxers. I tried to snap some photos before my camera died on me. I got home and searched the web for more images. I am looking forward to doing some more work for them in the future. 

SURF EXPO 09

Surf Expo had a small turn out this time. Sounds like it is expected that ASR is going to be even smaller. I rolled up on Friday morning with my buddy Henry. I had a few meetings in the morning, then we had some beers with Henry's nephew Richie that did some kind of PR with Volcom, then diner with my man Yasly, back to the Electric party and then off to the Magic Kingdom on Saturday. It was a cold, nice work weekend getaway.  Its going to be wild to see what happens to the large market shows and at once buying done by merchants. I will post some more picts soon.

WE THE PEOPLE

Its been a crazy week getting ready for Surf Expo tomorrow as well as finishing a few different projects. I just wrapped up a bike for WE THE PEOPLE out of Germany. I played with giving some metal style type a metal style look for the bike called Justice for next season. Really stoked to work on some more things with them. Would be sweet to get a bike, although I think I would break myself trying to ride one of those things.

Finally got these posters in hand and ready to ship! I have worked on a few projects with Yasly in the past few months. This by far was one of the most fun. Here we have a lovely Of Monteal Poster co-designed by our ever popular pals, Troy White and Yasly. 3 colors (tuqoise, black, metallic gold) on 18x23 white stock. THE HOLIDAY HOOK UP

I have been slammed with work which is a good thing and I have been very thankful for that. I am also thankful for some of the cool product that came out right before the holidays. My business partner hooked me up with the Master Blasters from Nixon. All the headphones they came out with are so sick! Check em out. NIXON.  I also was hooked up by a friend that works over at DC Shoes . All of the shoes in this collection are great!! It was hard to decide - If I had bigger closets I think I would get them all. Check out the Life Collection.

BILLABONG SPRING 09

I have been swamped with work lately, juggling the holidays and helping to meet some crazy deadlines. I haven't been posting much. Trying to get out to the malls to shop it just became easier to buy my gifts online. So while shopping I noticed that Billabong used some of my typography through the new line. I have worked with them on a few things now and I am currently working on more. Looking forward to posting some of the work I did a few months back. I will keep you posted.

DRAGON SOFTGOODS DROPPED

They just recently dropped the new soft goods on the Dragon site. I posted the goggles awhile back. A grip of tees, hoodys, hats, and belts have design work that I to developed on them. Just wait until I can show the recent stuff I have been doing for them. So different, so much fun to work on. Looking forward to working on the next season - that will be even better.

DC STUFF FLOATING AROUND

Started working on some projects with DC Shoes over the summer. I have been doing a  lot of corporate lock ups and some more progressive design pieces that haven't come out yet. Looking forward to working on more stuff in the future. Hopefully I can post some of the more creative work soon. Check out Zumiez for the latest.
