This was by far the best part of the entire trip. I am not the biggest fan of Social Distortion. Don't get me wrong I like them but, having the opportunity to have my brother fly in to see me and the show was what made it awesome. Social D has always been his favorite band and having seen them many times this was by far the best. It was a private party put on by Converse that they played an acoustic set for about 150 - 200 people.
HYPER CRUSH @ ASR DC PARTY

I had a blast at ASR this year. I had the opportunity to meet some incredible people and see some incredible shows. One of the greatest shows was Hyper Crush.. Amazing.. They have some downloadable music on their website. HYPERCRUSH . It reminds me a bit of UFFIE off of Ed Banger Records.

ASR AND QUIK

ASR has been pretty kick ass so far. Walked by the Quiksilver store front and they dropped one of my favorite all time designs. I had done a ton of work for them through a friend that needed help.. They picked up much more so keep your eyes peeled. On our way out to Social D tonight.. It has been awesome so far.

Awhile back I was asked for an interview for Brand New Intention Artist Collaboration. The site it coming together really well.. I would keep an eye out for some future collaborations by some very talented artists.

I had the chance to work with Advice on some type treatments. I have been working by hand to create some old school goodness. The line won't be launching for a bit - so here is just a peak. There is a lot more to come..

Jumped on Quiksilvers site today and noticed one of the coolest hats this season.. It is right up there with Billabongs bright orange trucker. The best part of the hat is that they used my type on the back. I can't wait until the new type I did for them is dropped.

I was in the mall over the weekend and saw a few designs using parts of my type from last season. Thought it was pretty cool that they where able to make use of it for more than one season..

Here is just a small sample of images I have been working on. I have been drawing more and more the past 6 months. Going back to pen, paper, and scissors has been great. The market seems to be changing faster and faster with the trends so I never feel bored doing the same old thing. I am looking forward to updating my web once the trade shows are over in September..
DRAGON SPOTTING

I was shopping the net when I ran across these Dragon shirts. I worked on a few Dragon projects through Joshua Smith in the past. I just never ran across anything. Even the catalog I got a PDF. of had my work practically on every page and I still never saw the stuff arrive in any retail store. So - I found these and there is still a lot more out and on its way so keep your eyes pealed.
